The large financial institutions have paid hundreds of millions of EUR over the last many years in fines for not complying with competition law. And apparently, they have not learned their lessons, as fines continue to be imposed upon them for non-compliance.
The banks - and all companies - would be much better advised to implement proper compliance trainings in place. This will save them money, hassle and reputation. But maybe they have not heard yet that they can have excellent competition law compliance trainings?
