When speaking about innovation, we tend to focus a lot on the products and services, but we tend to forget that talent retention and training is key. In addition, increased regulatory pressure means that a lot of the training (and increasingly so) will be on and around regulatory and compliance topics.
Thus the proposition that in order to free capacity and attention to focus on innovation, and attract the right talent thanks to excellent reputation, the financial institution has to also offer better, targeted and tailored training on the mandatory aspects of its business.
